No more suffering in high heels... The Foot Lift, or Loub Job, is the go-to treatment for relieving the feet of patients who regularly wear high-heeled shoes in their profession or private life. The structure of a high-heeled shoe creates a constant pressure on the front of the foot. However, in that area, there is a pad responsible for cushioning the foot. This pad will be compressed over the years, leading to pain.

QUEL PRODUIT UTILISER ?

L’acide hyaluronique connait aujourd’hui une nouvelle indication après les injections dans le visage ainsi que dans les articulations pour traiter l’arthrose.

LA CAUSE DES DOULEURS :

Le port prolongé de talons provoque une diminution du coussinet graisseux localisé sous les os de l’avant pied. Ce coussinet graisseux est responsable de l’amortissement de l’avant pied. Sa disparition avec le temps provoque une douleur qui s’installe et qui ne peut régresser spontanément. Cette douleur peut devenir invalidante avec le temps.

Avec le port de talons, le poids du corps sur le pied se repartit différemment :

– à plat : 70% du poids sur le talon et 30% sur l’avant du pied.
– 2 cm de talon : équilibre de la répartition avec 50 % sur le talon et l’avant du pied.
– 5 cm de talon : inversion de la répartition avec 30% sur le talon et 70% sur l’avant du pied
– 10 cm et plus : 90% du poids, voire plus sur l’avant du pied… D'où cette souffrance atroce !

LA SOLUTION AUX DOULEURS DE L’AVANT PIED :

Fort de cette constatation, nous pouvons soulager cette douleur chronique par l’injection d’acide hyaluronique dans la zone douloureuse.
C’est ce que nous appelons communément le Foot Lift ou Loub Job.

COMMENT SE DÉROULE LE TRAITEMENT ?

Après une anesthésie locale, nous injectons l’acide hyaluronique sous les zones de pressions de l’avant du pied. L’injection précoce permet de conserver votre coussinet graisseux et ainsi de prolonger l’effet antalgique recherché.

RESULTS:

Results are felt within 24 to 48 hours and typically last for an average of 8 to 12 months. This technique, originating from the United States, is becoming increasingly popular every day.

The injection is performed in a medical setting. The patient can walk again immediately after the medical treatment.

Completely hooked on high heels, a year ago, I had to accept that I needed to slow down, as my feet had become my torment… Even in flats.

I eventually pushed open the doors of the Boulogne Aesthetic Centre, desperate to see if a solution was possible. The conclusion was quickly reached with the doctor: “My fat pads were flat.”

After this thorough diagnosis, and in agreement with the doctor, I consented to have a quantity of hyaluronic acid injected into each foot, with defined injection points… Specifically for me, they injected hyaluronic acid to fill in the areas where there was a lack of support to relieve pressure.

My diagnosis: My pads were hollowed out, thus causing a significant issue with pressure distribution at the front and middle of my feet due to my excessive wearing of high heels.

Before injecting the hyaluronic acid, you must be anaesthetised.

Let’s be honest, it stings slightly, but it is bearable.

Once the anaesthesia is done, the doctor injects hyaluronic acid used for lips, as it is very flexible. The injection glides under the skin into the fat cushion… On both the outer and inner sides of the foot. A true relief!

Fifteen minutes later, my first observation was incredible, like having cushions under my feet. This sensation quickly faded, giving way to great comfort.

Following this procedure, I was able to carry on with my day without any issues. Today, I trot around in heels while shopping without pain and with pleasure. I recommend this technique without hesitation and thank the entire team at the aesthetic centre once again.
