Vascular laser

Starting from €150

What if you could eliminate all your varicosities, couperose, and angiomas! Today, everything is possible thanks to the new technologies of vascular laser treatment. Vascular laser is a validated technique that has been medically mastered for around twenty years. Our centre is equipped with 5 lasers, covering all indications for vascular treatment.

  • Short session (15 to 30 minutes)
  • Few side effects

YAG TECHNOLOGY – PULSED DYE:

The Centre is equipped with two vascular lasers, as there is a laser for each type of blood vessel pathology.

TARGET STRUCTURE:

Each laser has a treatment target. When we talk about laser hair removal, the target is the pigmentation of the hair.

The vascular laser targets the blood contained within the blood vessel.

INDICATIONS FOR VASCULAR LASER:

It is important to understand which types of blood vessels vascular lasers can be effective on.

To this end, a free medical consultation is systematically conducted beforehand with a laser physician from the Centre. During this session, we will check that your skin does not present any contraindication to laser treatment. A quote and consent form will be provided during this consultation.

FREE ASSESSMENT CARRIED OUT BEFORE ANY INTERVENTION :

Because we believe in always being transparent with you, each intervention performed by one of our laser physicians begins with a complimentary assessment to systematically determine whether your skin has any contraindications for laser treatment. A quote and consent form will be provided during this consultation.

WHICH VESSELS?

The common factor in all vascular pathologies is the dilation of blood vessels. When numerous, this becomes unsightly and uncomfortable.

There are various blood vessel pathologies:

Erythrosis: diffuse redness of the face exacerbated by climatic variations, temperature changes, and certain foods. This redness can be permanent or occur in the form of hot flashes known as flushes. In erythrosis, blood vessels are not distinguishable, only diffuse redness.
Couperose: well-defined and constantly visible blood vessels on the face, neck, and décolletage.
Varicosities of the lower limbs: similar to couperose but located on the legs.
Ruby spots, angiomas, and erythrosis coli are also treated at the Centre.

DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES OF VASCULAR LASERS:

The vascular laser functions to destroy the blood vessel through its intravascular coagulation system.

There are two modes:

- Simple coagulation mode
- Purpura mode: the latter corresponds to the complete destruction of the vessel, accompanied by the dissemination of blood under the skin, resulting in the appearance of a bruise that fades within a few days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS TO VASCULAR LASER:

We do not treat pregnant women, patients with dermatological inflammatory diseases, or patients undergoing photosensitising treatment.

ADVERSE EFFECTS OF VASCULAR LASER:

As with all medical techniques, there is no such thing as a zero-risk procedure.

However, it is important to know and understand the aftermath of laser treatment based on the indications.

The laser in simple coagulation mode will have minimal adverse effects. However, one may experience redness and swelling that can persist from 3 to 15 days.

The laser in purpura mode is accompanied by bruising corresponding to the destruction of the blood vessel, leading to the diffusion of blood outside the vessel. It looks impressive, but it is very effective for erythema.

Other adverse effects are extremely rare (pain, tingling, occasional burns, hyper or hypopigmentation). The very high technology used in lasers is completely safe.

PROCEDURE OF VASCULAR LASER SESSIONS:

Patients at the Centre are treated exclusively by qualified physicians. Depending on the area being treated, the session lasts from 15 to 30 minutes.

The laser centre is equipped with a skin cooling system that anaesthetises the skin while the laser shots are performed. Sensitivity during the sessions is quite tolerable. At the end of the session, the laser physician will apply a soothing cream.

Depending on the severity of the vascular lesions, 1 to 4 sessions may be necessary. However, there are cases where the number of sessions may be greater. Maintenance sessions will likely be required every year or two.

The interval between each session is approximately 4 weeks.

To ensure total safety, we remind you that we do not treat patients who have been exposed to the sun or UV rays in the month preceding or following the session.

Sun protection is therefore mandatory after any laser treatment.

Our centre is equipped with: Vbeam Perfecta from Candela and GentleMax Pro from Candela.

All laser treatments performed at the Centre are provided by our team of qualified physicians. The practice of laser is a MEDICAL PROCEDURE.

Advice from Christelle, our patient:

“It happened overnight… One evening, I had a bit more wine than usual and felt a wave of heat rising to my cheeks. When I got home, I thought it would pass, but the next day I started to have redness, then little spots and a burning sensation on my face.”

My first reflex was not to worry and thus to cover my imperfections with foundation. What a mistake! It only got infected and made things worse. The symptoms became persistent.

I tried to live without too much concern, not really knowing if there were solutions to my problem… But my episodes became regular. I couldn't take it anymore; I no longer dared to go out, drink, or even eat spicy food… Impossible to wear makeup. A massive couperose had taken over my cheeks.

I therefore decided to resort to vascular laser treatment at the Aesthetic Centre Paris.

After an assessment, they immediately diagnosed couperose. I must admit I was very well taken care of and the laser physician saved my skin.

After several sessions, the results are impressive:

My redness has really diminished.
My skin quality is smoother.
No more spots
No more couperose
