Depending on the quality of the hair, the doctor will determine the interval between laser hair removal sessions. This period ranges from 4 weeks for the face to 6 to 7 weeks for the body.

It is important to destroy the hair during its growth phase. Waiting too long between sessions may risk not being in the correct growth phase of the hair at the time of the appointment.

An average of 6 to 10 sessions are necessary to fully satisfy your request.

However, there are cases where the number of sessions may be greater. This phenomenon cannot be predicted during the assessment. Various physical reasons may be responsible (hormonal disorders, excessively fine bulbs, resistance to laser, etc.).

Patients at the Centre are treated solely by qualified doctors. Depending on the area being treated, the session can last from 15 minutes for a bikini area to 2 hours for full legs, bikini, underarms, arms, etc. During the session, we can treat as many areas as you desire, which will be validated during the prior assessment.

The laser centre is equipped with a skin cooling system that anesthetises the skin simultaneously as the laser shots are performed. Sensitivity during the sessions is quite tolerable.

At the end of the session, the laser doctor will apply a soothing cream.

REGULARITY OF HAIR REMOVAL SESSIONS IS CRUCIAL FOR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE COMPLETE TREATMENT.

PRECAUTIONS

Currently, there is no equivalent in terms of effectiveness to laser. Pulsed lights can be found in non-medical aesthetic centres; however, studies show a notable insufficiency in effectiveness.

We do not treat pregnant women or patients with inflammatory dermatological diseases.

As with all medical techniques, there is no such thing as zero risk. However, these side effects are extremely rare (pain, tingling, rarely burns, hyper or hypopigmentation). The very high technology used in lasers is completely secure.

To ensure total safety, we remind you that we do not treat patients who have been exposed to the sun or UV rays in the month preceding the session.

The complete treatment spans one year, considering the number of sessions, the interval between sessions, and holiday breaks. Therefore, there is no ideal period to start laser hair removal sessions.

Patients with hormonal disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome may see a notable increase in the number of required sessions.

RESULTS

It is important to know that laser hair removal currently allows, and numerous medical studies prove, an effectiveness of 80% to 90% on treated areas. However, 5% to 10% of patients will either be non-responders or will require a significantly higher number of sessions. Unfortunately, we cannot determine this until after conducting the sessions. Nonetheless, we wish to be transparent regarding these statistics.

Comfort sessions: Patients who do not wish to or cannot undergo complete treatment can opt for a laser hair removal session 15 days before their holidays, ensuring peace of mind for the 2 months following the session.

Young women: Laser should be started after puberty is complete. For those (under 16 years of age) wishing to reduce their hair growth nonetheless, we offer the REVLITE laser, which is a treatment laser for fine hair with effectiveness lasting several months.
