Rosacea: goodbye to unsightly marks!
What is rosacea?
Rosacea can affect all skin types, but women with fair skin are more commonly affected. As for men, they are also not spared and may even develop rhinophyma, a form of rosacea characterised by a red and swollen nose resulting from untreated rosacea. Certain factors can trigger rosacea flare-ups and exacerbate the symptoms of the condition, such as temperature, prolonged sun exposure, emotions, stress, alcohol, or hot beverages.
Rosacea affects the central part of the face and progresses over time. While each stage of development corresponds to specific symptoms, many people only develop the initial vascular form. This involves persistent redness on the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. Flushing may occur, leading to a completely red face.
It is advised to establish a special and gentle skincare routine. This should involve cleansing the skin to remove impurities and shed excess sebum. An antioxidant serum can help combat free radicals, particularly targeting blackheads and other blemishes. Sun protection will be essential to prevent the onset of rosacea.

Why choose the V Beam vascular laser?
The V Beam vascular laser destroys blood vessels in the dermis and eliminates all unsightly lesions (couperose, rosacea, varicosities, stretch marks…). It is effective for very fair skin. The skin regains its radiance, and all imperfections fade away. Generally, the appearance of most redness improves significantly within two to six weeks following treatment. Over time, redness may become visible again; in such cases, it can be treated in the same manner. This treatment requires 1 to 2 sessions spaced six weeks apart, with gradual results during the treatment period.
The V Beam vascular laser works by producing a pulse of laser light that targets the area to be treated without damaging the surrounding tissues. Skin redness may occur but will completely fade a few hours after the session due to the application of a moisturising cream. The V Beam laser requires the use of goggles to protect the eyes from the light. The practitioner then sweeps the targeted area with a handpiece emitting a laser beam. It is then prohibited to expose the treated areas to sunlight for about fifteen days. After the session, a bluish discolouration may appear immediately at each targeted impact site. This will turn red and then disappear quickly. Treatments for the treated areas with thermal water and soothing cream will be prescribed for 5 to 6 days.
If rosacea marks are a source of concern for you, consider this effective treatment to eliminate all unpleasant lesions.
