End water retention !
What is water retention ?
Our body constantly strives to maintain a balance between the fluids we absorb (drinks, water…) and those we lose (urine, stool, sweat…). When this balance is disturbed, water retention can occur, leading to an accumulation of water in certain parts of the body. This water retention is manifested by the appearance of oedema. If they persist for a long time, they can become painful and alter the appearance of the skin.
While the lower limbs such as the legs and feet are generally affected, oedema can also manifest in other areas of the body, such as the face and abdomen. Weight gain may be associated with it. It is essential to take this phenomenon into account as water retention can cause fluid infiltration in certain organs such as the heart and lungs.

Why rely on pressotherapy ?
Pressotherapy is a technique that activates venous and lymphatic circulation. It is an effective treatment for venous disorders of the lower and upper limbs. Through this type of lymphatic drainage sessions, oedemas (often present during summer), feelings of heavy legs, burning sensations, and swellings disappear. Furthermore, this technique serves as an excellent complement to manual drainage performed in physiotherapy. It has the ability to act on veins, heavy legs, and cellulite by eliminating water retention. It also acts as a preventative measure against the appearance of varicose veins. Thanks to its optimal action, it promotes toxin elimination. This treatment is even sought after for a simple relaxation moment.
While pressotherapy enhances the figure, it is suitable for both women and men experiencing circulatory issues, oedemas, or that unpleasant sensation of heavy legs. 10 to 15 sessions are recommended to achieve a good balance and an improvement in the silhouette of your legs. The more sessions undertaken, the more patients will notice the impact of this treatment on water retention or cellulite.
Painless, pressotherapy is carried out using an electrical device in continuous mode (to treat venous insufficiency) or sequential mode (ideal for targeting cellulite and addressing water retention). The device consists of boots for the legs and an abdominal belt. A session lasts on average between 20 and 30 minutes. A medical appointment should take place beforehand to ensure there are no contraindications.
If you are experiencing water retention, consider this treatment that is beneficial for both your well-being and the resulting aesthetics. Embrace lighter legs !
