Drooping eyelids: Plexr to enhance your gaze!

What are drooping eyelids?

Drooping eyelids are a problem that arises with age. The gaze appears sadder and more fatigued, and no cream can remedy this. It is important to know that the skin around the eyes is very thin and flexible. This area is the most affected by the effects of ageing. Additionally, the muscle responsible for eyelid blinking is the most utilised in the human body. Over time, eyelid ptosis occurs, causing the eyelids to sag and the gaze to become darker.

We refer to drooping eyelids when the upper eyelids sag, resulting in an excess of skin that forms a fold. Generally caused by the natural ageing of the skin, the levator muscle deteriorates. This muscle may be underdeveloped in some individuals and may no longer support the eyelid. This anomaly is then said to be hereditary.

Why opt for Plexr treatment?

The term “Plexr” is a contraction of “Plasma Excision”. Developed over many years in the United States, this innovative and patented aesthetic medicine technique is now spreading in France. It treats excess skin, minor lesions, sagging of the upper eyelids, or pigmentation spots without the need for cosmetic surgery and without damaging the surrounding tissues.

This technique allows for the treatment of drooping eyelids to diminish the effects of time and restore a more dynamic and refreshing gaze. It is a true “eyelid lift” without surgery. Treatments performed on this sensitive area are often feared, yet Plexr will act gently on both drooping eyelids and lipid spots.

The Plexr procedure involves an electronic pen whose tip releases a slight plasma electric current onto the surface of the skin. The Plexr creates tiny dots by approaching the skin but never actually touching it. These are arranged in a staggered pattern on the folds of the area, allowing the practitioner to direct the near-instant retraction of the skin. Thus, the gaze is enlarged, brightened, and looks more youthful. The session lasts around twenty minutes and is completely painless. Following the Plexr treatment, small brownish crusts may appear on the surface of the skin for 3 to 7 days. It is best to avoid scratching or manipulating them. It will be easier to let your skin regenerate peacefully without hastening its healing process. Also, avoid excessive use of healing creams as oily substances can tend to slow down the retraction effect. Avoid applying eye makeup during the healing period as well. You will have plenty of time to enhance your rejuvenated gaze afterwards.

If you are facing drooping eyelids, consider this treatment and do not hesitate to seek a diagnosis from a professional.
