First date, job interview or simply a moment of stress all increase our chances of sweating profusely. Particularly under the arms! An uncomfortable phenomenon that we could do without in order not to inconvenience others. To overcome this hurdle and put an end to excessive sweating, some have opted for the Miradry device, which is the treatment of the month!

Why choose Miradry?

Depending on daily challenges, we face phases of stress that vary in intensity. Our bodies react differently based on the individual: sweating on the back, blushing, but also excessive perspiration, which is the phenomenon of hyperhidrosis. In some cases, this condition is referred to as pathological hyperhidrosis. It involves an exaggeration of sweat production localized in specific areas of the body such as the armpits, palms, forehead, and sometimes other parts as well. It is particularly the sweat under the armpits that can sometimes be a social handicap due to the visible marks it leaves and the unpleasant odour it emits!

For several years now, the Miradry solution has proven effective in the United States. This device targets the sweat glands responsible for the unpleasant smell and eliminates them permanently. It reduces sweat and odours by 90% from the very first session and even helps to reduce hair growth. The Miradry procedure is available to anyone wishing to rid themselves of this intrusive odour or simply to avoid visible marks under the arms during stressful situations.

How does the Miradry device work?

Using a mechanism of ultra-short waves, Miradry effectively targets the sweat glands (apocrine and eccrine) that generate this bothersome odour. The process is without consequences as our bodies contain between 2 and 4 million sweat glands, of which 2% to 3% are located under the arms.

No more odour, no more sweating, and no more hair! This is the goal set by this medical device. The sessions take place in a medical setting and are performed by two doctors simultaneously. The doctors administer a local anaesthetic for the patient's comfort and then begin the treatment.

The device heats and cools the sweat glands, penetrating 4mm to 5mm, which is sufficient to reach and destroy the glands. At the end of the session, the doctor may apply ice packs under the armpits to reduce swelling or redness in the treated area. In 90% of cases, one session is enough to achieve the maximum result!

Are there any contraindications to consider?

Like all aesthetic procedures, the device may lead to some immediate effects post-session, such as bruising from the injection, redness, sensitivity, or swelling, which will eventually subside completely.

Now, it’s your turn to take the plunge! This is surely the best way to avoid blowing your budget on antiperspirants or deodorants filled with aluminium salts! But also to feel more comfortable in your everyday life!
